Half Life: A Parable for the Nuclear Age

Synopsis
Uses newsreel film, declassified US Defence Department footage and interviews with the people of Rongelap, who on that occasion were not evacuated, to describe the US hydrogen bomb testing programme ‘Bravo’ conducted in the Marshall Islands in 1954. Suggests that the USA used the islanders as part of a deliberate experiment to observe the effects of radiation on humans.
