The Hackney Enterprise Workshop in London enables young people, particulary those from ethnic minorities, with business ideas to set up in small units with very low rents and overheads. They are allowed a year to launch their projects, and they have the support of the manager of the workshop and the resident financial adviser. Features five very different businesses in their first year of trading and tells the story of the workshop from their point of view. There is no commentary.
