- Synopsis
- Five films in which Norman McLaren comments on, demonstrates and classifies the aspects of motion which the animator employs in his daily work. Part 3 examines zero and irregular motion. Part 4 looks at composite motion and the motions of jointed or pivotal parts. A human gesture with increasing amounts of emotion is described, as is ‘strobing’. Part 5 discusses the change in the amount and colour of light with an otherwise static screen.
