Six selected official British government information films showing how Britain has been portrayed over the 60 years: 1: Insight - Terence Conran (1981, 14 min): traces the success of Terence Conran’s design and retail empire, and the setting up of the Conran Foundation; 2: Designing Women (1948, 22 min): Joyce Grenfell as ‘Miss Arty’ shows a young couple now not fo furnish and design a home, and Audrey Fildes, as ‘Miss Design’ shows them how it ought to be done; 3: Insight - Minting Money (1982, 14 min): the story of the Royal Mint, from its origins in the Tower of London, to the modern location in South Wales; 4: The Centre (1948, 21 min): follows a family’s experiences at a pioneering health centre in Peckham; 5, 6: bonus items.
