- Synopsis
- A dramatised account of the the nine years spent in England by Robert Noonan who, in 1910 as Robert Tressell, finished writing ‘The Ragged-Trousered Philanthropists’. The film shows Noonan’s life during the writing of the book, when he was for the most part living on the breadline and working an average of 56 hours a week as a house painter.
