- Synopsis
- Dürer’s woodcuts and engravings set a new technical standard for more than a century and served as models for countless other works. He was also a pioneer of the printmaking techniques of etching and drypoint. This video concentrates on works in the British Museum collection and in addition to looking at Dürer, shows modern printmakers demonstrating the tchniques of woodcutting, engraving, etching and drypoint developed by Dürer.
