Genie

Synopsis
A girl who had spent the first 13 years of her life locked inside a single room tethered to a potty, was virtually mute when she eventually escaped. She had never had a normal human relationship. The paediatric, psychological and linguistic community all fought desperately for the right to use Genie as experimental evidence to prove their own theories on language and development. They ‘unlocked’ her mind, but what became of Genie the girl?
