Synopsis
Explains the process of gathering forensic material and illustrates this with reconstructions of violent crime. Explains the scope and limitations of the technique. Describes use of DNA fingerprints in immigration cases, and provides a description of the scientific principles and chemical steps that lie behind the creation of the fingerprints themselves.
