Synopsis
The results of an expedition to Ethiopia to study the diversity of cool-climate birds and mammals unique to the High Semyen of northern Ethiopia near the city of Gondar. Introduces the various age and sex classes comprising the Gelada baboon population living along the gorges that break up the area. Shows in detail social interactions including aggression between males and mating behaviour together with film studies of social structure, feeding and escape behaviour, grooming and playgroups of baies.
