Synopsis
A diagrammatic representation of the alimentary canal, the main symptoms of cancer of the oesophagus, stomach, small intestine and large intestine are shown in animation and summarised on a chart. Four cases are shown as well as brief surgical sequences, charts and pathological specimens. The value of the sigmoidoscope is emphasised.
