- Shows examples timber harvested from sustainably managed forests and eco-labelling schemes to reassure customers: in Sweden, one of Europe’s largest timber companies is selectively harvesting trees while leaving tracts of forest intact for wildlife and in Papua New Guinea and the Soloman Islands local people are using ‘walkabout sawmills’ to process individual hardwood trees in situ.
