Front Line, The

Synopsis
Dover, 15th September 1940: for three months the town has been a frontier target for the Reich but the spirit of the people is undaunted. ‘There was only one hotel left in existence in Dover’, Harry Watt remembers, ‘and stationed at that hotel were the vultures of Europe - the American correspondents who had seen Czechoslovakia fall, Poland fall, Belgium fall, Holland fall. And they were there to see the fall of Britain...'.
