Ford Escort Anti-Lock Braking System

Synopsis

In two part, the film looks at the new British-designed hydro-mechanical anti-lock braking system that is available in the new Ford Escort and Orion. Part 1 explains the system in graphic detail. Part 2 shows the difference between a car without the system (as seen in the Ford RS200) and a car fitted with the system (the Escort XR331). Ex-world champion rally driver, Stig Blomquist, puts both cars through their paces on special surfaces.
