Shows the workings of Force Crag mine, the last metal mine in the north of England, which is now closed. Describes the operation of the minerals processing plant at Froce Crag and explains the underlying theory of each of the various stages. Includes a brief history of metal extraction at the mine. Notes the geological origins and nature of the orebody and the implications for the design of the minerals processing circuit.
