Food for Thought

Synopsis
Looks into claims that the mind can be improved by certain drugs - ‘nootropics’ or ‘cognition enhancers’, unlicenced drugs newly arrived in Britain. Asks whether they can offer successful therapies for the diseases that impair thinking and memory in old age and offer others an improved quality of life.
