Fluids and Structures in Engineering (2 Parts)

Synopsis
Because of the need to produce lightweight efficient structures, the principles of fluid dynamics and structural mechanics have been most highly developed for application in aeronautics. However, these basic aeronautical techniques now find application in many other areas of engineering and technology. These programmes, presented by members of staff of the Department of Aeronautics, Imperial College, discuss some of these principles and their applications.
