- Compiled from amateur films held by the archive in the Centre of South Asian Studies, University of Cambridge. Designed to illustrate facets of social, domestic and administrative life in India from unique personal films taken by the British in India between 1925 and 1947. Also intended to contribute to the debate on the use of film in the teaching of historical and related social studies.
