Synopsis
Slides showing a selection of work by leading contemporary British fashion illustrators practising during the late 1990s, including Hamza Arcan, Jacqueline Bisset, Judith Cheek, Lynette Cook, Camilla Dixon, Neil Greer, Rosalyn Kennedy, Hilary Kidd, Mark Ridson and Stephen Worth. The impact of photography in the late 1930s caused a revolution in the way the illustrator worked within the fashion industry. This pack explores the role of the fashion illustrator today, in a changing global market where fashion communication is carried out at lightning speed.
