Synopsis
Shows the work of members of the Amsterdam School, for which Holland was famous in the first half of the 20th century, including de Klerk, Kramer and van der Mey. Also shows Duiker, van Eyck and Rietveld, whose architecture is seminal. Shows comtemporary architect Renzo Piano’s Science and Technology Centre, Benthem and Crouwel’s Schipol air terminal, van Berkel and Bos’s commercial and residential development in the centre of Amsterdam, and housing on KSNM Island by Kollhof, Albert and Coenen.
