- Slides taken from original catalogues, with engravings and prints from the Universal Exposition of 1889 and the ‘Livre d’or de l’exposition’. The Eiffel Tower was designed exclusively for this event, and working diagrams and images showing the erection of the complex structure are included, together with selected views of the extravagant exhibition halls and exhibits.
