Erwin Piscator: Politics on the Stage in the Weimer Republic

Synopsis
Erwin Piscator was the most inventive political director in Germany between the Great War and Hitler. The slides, chosen from designs, production-photographs, cartoons and newspaper drawings, bring alive his efforts to correlate conventional scripts with their political, social and economic contents.
