Amazon Rainforest

Synopsis
Examines the changes that the Amazon rainforest is undergoing. Oil companies and settlers are upsetting the delicate balance in the forest, home to indigenous people for ten thousands years. The Huaorani Indians speak about the erosion of their culture and the environmental changes that they are witnessing. The video shows how permaculture techniques pioneered in Australia are providing a sustainable alternative to land degradation.
