Emma

Synopsis

Examines the case of Emma, who has no expressive language although, as far as her comprehension and motor skills are concerned, her development is normal for her age. She has been referred to Medecroft Opportunity Centre, Winchester, for intensive speech therapy. The main part of this programme is an unedited speech therapy session. It is preceded by an interview with the speech therapist who describes Emma’s case history and background.
