Egg Dances on Video
- Synopsis
- A group work for 13 dancers ranging in age from 9 to over 70, ‘Egg Dances’ is regarded as one of Rosemary Lee’s major and pivotal works. Created in 1988, it was reworked for the camera, in collaboration with film-maker Peter Anderson, and for its location in an ancient tithe barn. It is an example of cross-generational work and includes an interview with the choreographer.
