Synopsis: Follows a team of writers and producers of ‘EastEnders’ who are in Kazakhstan to teach local film-makers the principles of producing a popular soap opera. Charts the attempts to instill the values of soap opera into a group of intellectual writers and demoralised producers and workers who have only just emerged from years of Stalinist communism.
