Dunbar Wharf

Synopsis
Shows Dunbar wharf (a Butler’s Wharf warehouse), the last surviving wharf operating in London’s docklands to handle sacked goods, in this case juniper berries imported for the manufacture of gin. It has now closed. Interviewees include the warehouse manager. Filmed November 1989, Limehouse, London.
