Synopsis
Charts the rise to power of Hitler and the Nazis from 1918 to Hitler’s election as Chancellor in 1933 and consists of a series of images with no accompanying narration. Set out in chapters, each concerned with a different year, beginning in 1933, at the end of the Weimar and the start of Hitler’s rule and his first speech as Chancellor to the German people in the Berlin Sports Palace. Includes footage from 1926 showing convoys of young Nazis travelling through the forests of Bavaria and the Nuremberg rally of 1927.
