Synopsis

An interactive role-play programme in medical ethics. The user assumes the role of a family physician and is called on to make decisions in ten cases that raise ethical issues similar to those faced by GPs: abortion, AIDS/HIV, alternative therapies, artificial insemination, assisted suicide, cancer, confidentiality, contraception, difficult patient, informed consent, life support, malpractice, research protocol. Includes related resources, together with summaries of the positions of many religions and Christian denominations.
