Dna and Protein Synthesis

Synopsis
Shows experiments that prove DNA carries the genetic information. Uses animated graphics and laboratory sequences to illustrate how protein synthesis occurs, and demonstrates the importance of the use of radioactively-labelled compounds to study biochemical processes occurring in the cell. Also shows how radioactivity is handled and measured in a biochemistry laboratory.
