Disputed Borderlands
- Synopsis
- In 1989 the fall of the Berlin Wall threw Eastern Europe into social, political and cultural turmoil. As the old alliances break down, East and West are jockeying for position across the faultline at the edge of Europe. This programme reports from Poland, Belarus and the Ukraine - disputed lands emerging from communism to find their new identities.
