72 Suns, The

Synopsis

The COSS collector is a solar energy collector with segmented mirrors. The 72-mirror prototype has been successfully used in experiments at the Centre for Nuclear Energy in Caradache. In sunny regions such boilers can supply industrial steam, mechanical energy and electricity ranging from 10 to several hundred kilowatts.
