Synopsis
Shows daily nursing duties in special education for the physically handicapped child. As well as general liaison within the school, and the usual visiting agencies (school doctor, educational psychologist), shows the importance of the nurses’ contact with outside agencies (GPs, social services, hospitals, parents). Stresses the importance of speech therapy and physiotherapy in helping the child.
