Synopsis

CD-ROM with an expanded version of the Proceedings of the 1995 CADE (Computers in Art and Design Education) conference, held at the University of Brighton 18-21 April 1995; a digital version of the first ArCade exhibition of electronic prints, which was shown in conjunction with the conference; and new works by contributors to the conference and exhibition - contributions from over 200 artists, designers and commentators working in areas such as art, design, animation, theatre, music, hypertext, multimedia, critical theory, communications, holography and virtual reality. Documents current debates on changes in professional practice, methods and applications in the new technologies, current research activities and case studies of the use of computers in art and design education.
