Different Dancers, Similar Motion
- Synopsis
- Integrated provision for dancers and non-dancers with and without physical and mental disabilities, based on the Oxford Dance Residency in 1989 led by Motionhouse. Showshow people can overcome ignorance, anxieties, inexperience and prejudices through constructively led workshops. It folliws two parallel workshops over a fortnight: one an open group for people with and without physical disabilities, the other a youth dance group for people with and without learning difficulties. The progress of both groups is followed from beginning to end, so that the processes and results are clear.
