Synopsis
The following conditions are illustrated and described: Lower motor neurone lesion - drop foot gait due to polio. Upper motor neurone lesion: 1) very mild hemiplegia, 2) severe hemiplegia, 3) diplegia and 4) athetoid. Muscle disease: Duchenne dystrophy (Gower’s sign), arthrogryposis.
