Synopsis
Describes some elementary embryology as found in the sea urchin, and then proceeds to the development of the rabbit. Egg-laying mammals are mentioned after the preliminary discussion on simple cell division. Various stages of the development of the rabbit are shown by dissections and by animated diagrams.
