Development of the Child: Adolescence: The Winds of Change

Synopsis
Opens with a series of brief scenes depicting adolescence in several simpler societies, and then proceeds to consideration of the problems of growing up in the modern industrialised world, particularly in the United States. The physical, sexual and cognitive changes of adolescence, and the responses of adolescents to them are then reviewed, and are illustrated by scenes of conversations among adolescents, and between adolescents and their parents.
