Designer Babies

Synopsis
Explains the techniques that have been developed to ‘micro-sort’ sperm in order to pre-select the sex of a child. With the completion of the Human Genome Project in the foreseeable future, it seems inevitable that designer babies, made possible by technology, will be possible within 20 years. Asks how this would affect society and the species, and whether scientists can predict where it all might end.
