Synopsis

An interactive CD-ROM learning programme for acquiring Arabic language skills for international business use. Filmed on location with professional actors in an Arabic-speaking country, scenes focus on a group of tourists who travel to an Arab country where they learn basic language skills. Shows 300 exercises during which they become proficient in daily language requirements such as greeting otherss, making telephone calls, asking and following directions, reading signs and ordering food. The native specakers introduce Arabic sounds, basic vocabulary useful expressions, introductory grammar, culture and history. Designed for self-study or classroom use.
