Akiko Hada

Synopsis
A compilation of eight video pieces by video artist Akiko Hada, designed for study and research use. Hada has collaborated with various musicians, including David Toop, Holger Hiller, Steve Beresford, Lester Square and Kazuko Hohki, leading to works that explore and experiment with the synthesis of sound and image. Combining more personal concerns with an irreverent humour, this body of work represents a sustained interest in contextual play and formal experiment. Titles include WHITE PIECE, DOUBLE INDEMNITY, OHI HO BANG GANG, JAMES BONK IN MATT BLACKFINTGER, ART MODERNA CHA CHA CHA, THE FALL OF A QUEEN OR A TASTE OF FRUIT TO COME, THE LEAP (NO LEAP)
