Synopsis
Follows the various production techniques of the wings of the BAC 111 aircraft, and details the functions of each component in the structure. Shot mainly at the BAC factories at Weybridge and Hurn, the processes shown include routing, drawing and rolling, integral machining, stretch forming and pressing. Concludes with the mating of wing and fuselage, final assembly, systems test and take-off.
