Synopsis
After years of government repression, 80,000 people risked their lives on May 1st 1976 to take part in a protest march and demand an end to the civil war. Documents that march and explores the peoples’ concerns and the reactions to the economic and political crisis that lay behind the march. Shows the ruins of the national university, a refugee camp, a factory, and interviews with human rights and labour activist.
