Danger at Work

Synopsis
Traces the history of occupation-related diseases to the present. Industries such as coal, metal product manufacture, lead battery production, agriculture, hospital service and chemicals are used to illustrate the ways worker health can be protected whilst doctors, nurses, safety engineers, trade unionists and general practitioners discuss their respective roles in the process. Emphasis is placed on the need to prevent ill health at work rather then provide a purely curative service.
