Cutting Tool Geometries

Synopsis
Looks at the reasons for using the correct cutting tool for each given metalcutting operation. Shows the several different angles of a cutting edge and how they need to be introduced into a rotating workpiece. Also shows chipbreaker designs and chip types in turning and identifies those preferred for particular machining operations.
