AIDS: An African Perspective

Synopsis
Filmed largely in Zambia and Uganda, examines some of the major issues of the AIDS problem in Africa. Includes interviews with government representatives, health professionals and the general public and shows the pragmatic approach being taken by the two countries. Concentrates on the perceived impact of the disease on the educated, professional urban elite rather than the potential impact in rural communities.
