Synopsis
A short, open-ended drama designed to stimulate discussion of values and ethics in relation to modern medical technology. As health authorities despair over budget cuts, A child is rushed to an emergency unit in need of a liver transplant. The hospital director has to decide whether to allow funds to be released for this operation, when he also has to find money for a programme to prevent cot deaths.
