Synopsis
Shows the way of life of the Cree Indians of Northern Quebec, as exemplified by three hunting families in their winter hunting quarters, at a time when the traditional Cree hunting grounds were threatened with flooding by the James Bay hydro-electric project. Shows how the Cree make their homes, and teach the young the traditions.
