A California study in which each child, as a result of diagnostic tests to ascertain strengths and weaknesses, follows a specially programmed curriculum designed to meet his special needs and he follows this programme at his own pace. Emphasis is placed particularly on development tasks and creative activities; language skills and reading readiness are an integral part of the programme.
