Synopsis

Courseware comprising sets of worked problems in elementary inferential statistics. A glossary of terms is provided. Covers: estimation; least squares; regression; hypothesis testing; tests based on the normal, t, F and chi squared distributions; one-way analysis of variance. The courseware consists of hypertext modules with graphics and simulation. Intended to complement lecture material. Approximately 10 hours of teaching material.
