Ageing: A Strategy for Research

Synopsis

Research on human ageing needs a multi-disciplinary approach involving biochemists, microbiologists, pathologists, zoologists and workers in other scientific and medical fields. Shows how the results of research so far have given us an understanding of what ageing actually is. Explains the possibilities of combating the unpleasant effects of old age. The conclusion reached is that there is an urgent need of money to accommodate many more researchers from many disciplines if we are to arrive at practical solutions to the problems caused by old age.
